This site is the personal ramblings of an anxious homebody from Alabama who and up and decided to move to Germany with his wife. As someone who has never been away from his home state for more than two weeks at any given time, this is a giant leap.
The purpose of this blog, among other things, is a means for this bearded fella to recount and share his experiences in the world beyond the Southern United States. Hopefully, I can inspire other nervous people like myself to try something unique, while continually reassuring myself in the process.
